میں یہی سوچ کے چپ ہوں کہ خدا کی مرضی
ورنہ چھت چھین لی جائے تو بکا بنتی ہے
تیری مسکان سے پہلے میں یہی کہتا تھا
اتنی آسان کہاں دل میں جگہ بنتی ہے
ایک مدت سے میں بے اذن تکلم تھا مجھے
اس نے گویائی عطا کی ہے، صدا بنتی ہے
کتنی قندیلوں، چراغوں کا جنم رکتا ہے
عالم خلق میں جس وقت ہوا بنتی ہے
تری آنکھیں ہی وہ فطرت کا مطب ہیں جن میں
خواب آلود مریضوں کی دوا بنتی ہے
ان سے اعجاز غنیمت ہے جو دشنام ملے
گالیاں بھی وہ اگر دیں تو دعا بنتی ہے
