رونے والوں کو پھر ہنسا جاؤ

رات دن اشک ہی بہاتی ہیں
تتلیاں غم کے گیت گاتی ہیں
جب فضائیں انہیں رلاتی ہیں
ہر طرف سے صدائیں آتی ہیں
جام الفت کے پھر پِلا جاؤ
جانے والو پلٹ کے آ جاؤ
نامہ بر کی رسید کب آۓ
منتظر ہوں کہ نیند کب آۓ
رنج و غم ہے شدید کب آۓ
پھر نہ جانے یہ عید کب آۓ
عید اب ساتھ میں منا جاؤ
جانے والو پلٹ کے آ جاؤ
کچھ نہیں اب تو خاص آنگن میں
گھومتا ہوں اداس آنگن میں
کون ہو غم شناس آنگن میں
صرف رہتی ہے! یاس آنگن میں
میرے آنگن کو پھر بسا جاؤ
جانے والو پلٹ کے آ جاؤ
جب ملے قربِ یار کا موسم
آۓ چین و قرار کا موسم
ڈھونڈ لاؤ جو پیار کا موسم
ہر طرف ہو بہار کا موسم
گیت الفت کے پھر سنا جاؤ
جانے والو پلٹ کے آ جاؤ
یار جب سے ہوئے ہیں ہرجائی
کھا رہی ہے بدن کوتنہائی
کیسے ہوگی بھلا شناسائی
اب تو جانے کو ہے یہ بینائی
اپنے وعدے سبھی نبھا جاؤ

دل یہ رہتا ہے پُراَلم بابر
کون ہے جو سنے گا غم بابر
مسکرانے لگے صنم بابر
آ کے رکھ لو مِرا بھرم بابر
